The Special Education department of Rio Brazos Education Cooperative serves students with special needs at all four member school districts and a residential treatment center.
The department has a director, coordinators and diagnosticians, social workers, speech pathologists, instructors, instructional aides, an interpreter for the deaf, and a teacher for the visually impaired.  Also available on a consultant basis for each school district are a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and psychologist.
