Curriculum Team
Penny Kocian graduated from
Axtell High School. Graduated with honors from Tarleton State
University with a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Penny
has taught First Grade, Special Education and Kindergarten at
Axtell Elementary her whole teaching career. She has been active
in SBDMC, District Technology Committee and Grant Writing Committees.
Her hobbies include: reading, playing piano, spending time with
family and sports.
Rhonda Embry graduated
from Aquilla High School. She attended Tarleton State University
and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She is a mother
of two and has been a classroom teacher for eight years. Her
hobbies include: reading, cooking and spending time with her
family.
